Transferring account ownership means assigning your Account Owner administrative rights to another team member. You can transfer account ownership to any team member who is already associated with your firm’s TaxGPT account.
To transfer account ownership, follow these steps:
Log in to your TaxGPT account.
Go to Admin Center, then click Team.
Locate the team member you want to transfer ownership to and click their name or the expand arrow to open their details.
Click the three-dot menu.
Select Transfer Ownership.
Click Transfer Ownership again to confirm the change.
Once confirmed, the selected team member will receive an invitation to accept the ownership transfer. Once they accept the invitation, the account ownership will be transferred to them.
